Zen & Hearth started in the basement of our home in Calgary, Canada with a simple mission: to make self-care fit into even the busiest lives.
Modern life is exhausting. Baths take an hour nobody has. Candles need a free evening. But the shower — the shower happens anyway. It is the one daily ritual almost nobody skips, and it was going completely unused.

Where the name comes from

Today Zen & Hearth is Canada Showcase certified, still made in Calgary, and has shifted more than 100,000 showers for over 10,000 customers. The basement is a workshop now. The mission hasn't moved.
